The importance of conservation
We are a group of marine biologist and ecologist from different research and academic institutions but all commonly interested on the composition, structure, functioning and conservation of macroalgae marine forests.
In this line, we are aware of the regression of many Cystoseira marine forest thorough the Mediterranean Sea leading to a loss of biodiversity ad ecosystem simplification in many coastal areas. For this reason, we want Cystoseira forest back where it has disappeared, by proposing new approaches without damaging the actually declining populations.
